ABOUT ME
Friendly, very communal, really into people. Work in a launderette. Curious. Good at learning. Neat.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like traveling to different places but I don't have much money. When I do travel to places I tend to be more interested in everyday life than big monuments and stuff. So it would be nice to be able to stay with someone local.
Also I'm looking into moving to a city with cheaper rent so I can spend a couple of years doing more intensive self-education. So I'm looking to go and visit some places to see how feasible it is. So again it makes more sense to stay with someone local who's happy to answer my questions.
I would love to be able to offer space but as I always share houses it wouldn't be possible without getting the whole house's agreement, which has not happened yet.
But I'm a good guest, I learn the basics of whatever the necessary language is quickly, I'm very appreciative and of course I never expect anyone to clean my mess for me.
Interests
At the moment it's mainly history, people, and politics. I'm also doing a comic. And learning some code. Oh and larp and tabletop games! I find most things interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't really think about favourites when I enjoy things now so I find this very difficult. But anyway I'll just put what first pops to mind.
Chance the Rapper (hip-hop), Skepta (grime), soul, Yazoo (80s pop), italo-disco, italian minimalism, garage, Finlay (indie)
Movies/films: I like "Lift" by Mark Issacs. It's on youtube and about 20 mins long if you're interested.
Books:
fiction: José Saramago, James Baldwin, Nanni Balestrini
non-fiction: Many Headed Hydra, Villains of all Nations, those little "Very Short Introduction to..." books
^^^^ I need to read more books by women don't I?
