I'm driving across the country to make photographs, and go to my cousin's wedding in California.

ABOUT ME

Hello! There is a satisfaction that I get from being alone in a new place that is affirming. You know this? To me it's an overwhelming feeling of love for self and for the myriad people and things that are out there in any direction. That's why I'm travelling.
I'm a photographer, I photograph buildings, malls, corporate business, little things that have been left behind, people.
Music is important to me, and I'll listen to anything with an open mind. I'm not much for invalidating whole genres on face value.
I like talking to people about what they are passionate about. Especially artistic works. I like to critique.
I'm also not very serious, even though what I wrote seems serious-- unbridled weirdness and humor is something that keeps me going.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm trying to work that out. Life isn't easy, and I've struggled with being in a sort of malaise. I think the way life should be lived is in honesty and in attempting a fearless trust in other people. To not be dismissive. This is hard to abide by, so it's a struggle and a learning process. We'll see how this goes. Get back to me when I'm 75.

Music, Movies, and Books

Just ask me, I always find making a list like this to be difficult. I'll just tell you that I have really broad tastes and can watch an art film and a blockbuster and see the merit in both. Being an elitist is just as bad as being "tasteless" or whatever you would call it.
