I was born in Zamboanga, a city in the southern part of the Philippines. Then I moved to Manila for uni and have since built and established a life here.

I spend most of my day in an office setup, giving me a thirst for adventure. I work for a US-based company, hence I work night shifts and sleep during the daytime.

I find many things interesting and have a natural curiosity.

I am an aspiring travel vlogger, and I intend to start uploading my travels this year. I realized that I have been to a lot of places, but I haven't really documented them. I think this could be a good way for me to look back, after a few years, on what I have achieved regarding my dream of exploring the whole world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My ultimate life goal is to visit all 195+ countries and territories. This is very hard to do with a third-world passport, and harder for someone who earns in Philippine Pesos.

Couchsurfing helps get me closer to that dream by visiting all these countries THROUGH YOUR STORIES. I got to meet a lot of people through Hangouts, and I feel like I have travelled to more places than I actually have.

Also, when I get a chance to travel, knowing someone from that place - be it a host, or someone in hangouts, or a fellow traveler - makes the trip more meaningful. I get to learn about places not talked about and experience the country from a not-so-touristy perspective.

I met a stranger who then turned into a friend after a night of conversation... Then I scrapped my remaining travel plans to join him for an impulsive adventure the next few days.
