ABOUT ME

Hey, my name is Jasper, I'm 27 years old and I am from Cologne, Germany.
My friends would describe me as a funny, outgoing and openminded person. I'm very easy to get along with.
After graduating from College and working as an IT Consultant for two years, I recently quit my job to travel. Right now I'm on a working holiday visa in Australia with my girlfriend. We have our own camper van and are traveling through the country.
My first big journey was in 2003 when I 0travelled the New England States in the US with my family.
In 2007 I decided to spent a year abroad as an Exchange student. I stayed at a wonderful hostfamily and went to school for one entire year in Ohio. This adventure was maybe the most exciting time of my life yet!
In 2011 I travelled the United States from Coast to Coast and met many great people through Couchsurfing! It was the experience of my lifetime! Some of my host back then have visited me in Cologne!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I can't believe how many great experiences I made through couchsurfing in such a short time. All the people I met were nice and I had a lot of fun with every single one of them. It seems like almost everybody on here is a great person. And that's all that counts, to meet and get to know great new persons!

Intereses

Im very interested in Sports of any kind. I especially enjoy Judo, but I go running and play soccer with friends as well.
I dont just do sports with my friends though, we also like to hang out together at someone's and watch a movie or play games.
Another thing I like to do, is traveling and getting to know new places and people. I have been in many countries in Europe.
Last year I went surfing in Indonesia. Right now I'm on a working holiday visa traveling through Australia.

Música, películas y libros

I can enjoy almost every kind of music as long as it is good. In my freetime I mostly listen House and Electro, but I listen to Rock, Pop and sometime Reggae as well.
My favorite Movies are comedys or action movies. I dont like Chick Flicks that much;)
When I read a book, it's a crime thriller mostly.

There is not one special experience that stands out from the rest. Traveling has given me many great experiences. Through couch surfing I have met many great people and quite a few of my hosts have visited me at home since.

I can share my knowledge experience, tips and time with hosts. For me couch surfing is mostly about the experiences and interacting with my hosts. I'm not a chef, but I can cook for (or with) you.
