I love traveling, getting lost anywhere around the world and meeting new people from all backgrounds.
Currently studying my third and final year of Photojournalism in the UK, after which me, my boyfriend and dog are hopefully leaving to NZ for work & holiday. See you there?

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We're going to New Zealand, and hopefully we'll get to meet new people and also do some couchsurfing. I'm currently unable to host since I'm in-between countries studying in UK and living in Finland part-time, but as soon as we have a stable apartment, in whatever country that might be, we will definitely take other travelers in!
Surfed couches through Australia's East-coast with my friend Vilma in 2010, which was the best experience ever. We made some life-long friends through couchsurfing. Unfortunately haven't used couchsurfing in my travels since then, but hoping to get back on it in NZ and also later hosting people.

I am a surfer and I have been planning most of my travels around surfing for a while. Always love to learn more about local surf spots and surfing etiquette.
I'm studying Photojournalism & Documentary Photography, which has been a lifelong passion of mine.
Used to work in the restaurant industry (waitress, bartender) so it's always nice to bond with fellow colleagues around the world.

I listen to almost any kind of music as long as it makes me feel good. I'm always looking for new tunes! Right now I'm really into something funky/electro, like the new Daft Punk.
Franz Kafka is a long time favourite author.
Thanks to university, I've gotten into philosophy and theories by thinkers such as Baudrillard, Lyotard, Žižek, Derrida and so on. I've officially become boring.
Also, I watch a loot of films, too many to get into here now. I'm always down for all kinds of documentaries, indie films as well as (good) Hollywood movies. Anything goes really.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Skydiving was one of the most amazing experiences, also diving in Indonesia.
The ocean is incredible. Especially sailing across the Pacific on a tiny sailboat.
And nothing beats the feeling of catching a wave while surfing.
Aaaand I guess that was a few more than just one thing.
