Hi! I'm Jatin — an adventurous and friendly soul with a curious mind. I'm currently based in Delhi, pursuing my bachelor's degree and freelancing with a few Indian companies in the fields of branding and marketing.

Although I may come off as a bit introverted at first, once we connect, you'll find me open and genuinely interested in people and their stories. I love learning from others and hearing about their experiences — it's one of the reasons I enjoy Couchsurfing!

Outside of work and studies, I’m passionate about personal growth, swimming, reading, working with cultural societies, and spending time in the Himalayas, where I feel most connected to culture and nature.

I also enjoy guiding travelers around my hometown and sharing both my travel experiences and work journey. I'm always up for meeting new people, exchanging ideas, and forming meaningful connections.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to meet travelers, hang out, and build meaningful connections. One of my personal goals is to become more outgoing, and I believe spending time with people from different cultures is a great way to grow.

Whenever someone visits my hometown, I truly enjoy showing them around — but in the city, I often don’t find many people to connect with. That’s why Couchsurfing feels like the perfect space for me.

I love helping travelers experience the local culture, try authentic food, explore hidden spots, and avoid common scams. I’m happy to assist with language and navigation or just share stories over a cup of chai.

Although I’m currently unable to host, I’d be glad to hang out or even help you find a place to stay. Let’s explore together and make some great memories!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is a big part of my life — I enjoy everything from soulful mountain music to modern hits. I love listening to Pandavaas and Heera Singh Rana, who bring the folk sounds of Uttarakhand to life. Arijit Singh is my favorite when I want to relax or get in my feelings, and sometimes I switch things up with international artists like Wiz Khalifa.

I enjoy movies that make you think or feel deeply. Romantic dramas and emotional stories are my favorites, but I also enjoy a good action film now and then. One series I really liked is “Criminal Justice” — it’s gripping and intense.

Books are my way to slow down and reflect. I enjoy the emotional storytelling of Ravinder Singh and the spiritual journey in “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho — a book that truly changed how I see life.

Teach, Learn, Share

🧑‍🏫 Teach:
I can teach you some basics of Indian languages like Hindi, along with common phrases, slang, and gestures we use every day. I’d also love to show you the fun side of Indian culture — from festivals and food to Bollywood movies and desi jokes!

I’m always excited to learn new things — especially about different cultures, lifestyles, languages, and ways people see the world. I believe every person I meet has something valuable to teach me.
