Hello, future friends! :) I’m Abu, a Dutch national fluent in English, with a passion for connecting across cultures. I’m friendly, open, and outgoing, with a great sense of humor. Meeting people from all over the world is something I truly enjoy, and I’m enthusiastic about promoting international education, helping students from diverse backgrounds find opportunities to study abroad.

I love diving into thoughtful discussions on any topic, and I’m always up for exploring new ideas. Traveling is one of my greatest joys, discovering beautiful places and experiencing the richness of different cultures inspires me. Looking forward to connecting with you all!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love visiting exciting places and countries, inviting people to share a drink or cup of tea for a meaningful conversation. I’m on Couchsurfing to enrich my life through diverse cultures and to connect with wonderful people otherwise, there are always hotels! When needed, I’m happy to request a couch and will gladly offer mine in return. To me, Couchsurfing isn’t about “free accommodation”; it’s about creating memorable experiences and building connections that go beyond a place to stay.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first Couchsurfing experience was back in 2010 in Paris, France, where I had the pleasure of meeting some incredible people. Since then, I’ve been continuously traveling to some of the most exciting parts of the world, including Hungary, Romania, Malaysia, Slovenia, Croatia, Estonia, Dubai, Qatar, Czechia, Indonesia, Finland, and many more. Hosting guests in my home in the Netherlands has also been an amazing experience.
