Overview
About Me
Hey there! I’m Javier, 26, a doctoral candidate in computational neuroscience (with a background in physics). When I’m not diving into the brain 🧠, you’ll find me traveling—whether solo or with friends—staying active with sports 🤸♂️, buried in a good book 📚, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen 🧑🍳. I thrive on great conversation, belly laughs, and long walks immersed in nature 🌲. My passion is exploring new places ✈️ and meeting interesting people from all over the world!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m here to meet hosts who can show me the real heart of their city—its best cafés, hidden gems and local hangouts. In return, I love sharing stories and home-cooked tapas 🥘, and I’d be thrilled to my city in Spain!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visiting Morocco was unforgettable — the mix of colours, architecture, street art and the warmth of the people left a deep impression on me. And standing in front of Niagara Falls, feeling the power and beauty of nature, literally took my breath away. Both places made me feel small in the best possible way.
