ABOUT ME

I'm an architecture student and I'm looking forward to see the whole world. I love doing all type of crazy things, especially when I'm well accompanied by my friends. Some of those hobbies are going out partying all night long; talking until late about cinema, art, music, politics or whatever it comes; taking some beers and going out with someone to somewhere with a beautiful view; lying on the grass and relax and, of course, having a great meal with friends.

As you can see, I'm a normal guy who likes to take every normal moment as if it was something special. So I would like to improve my experience by traveling more and meeting more people, that's why I've enrolled in this CouchSurfing adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

Do whatever you want without disturbing the others. Enjoy life as much as possible and don't be afraid.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived my first couchsurfing experience last summer in Lille, spending 15 great days with Nico, who hosted me while I was looking for a flat. It was a hard work to find the study where I live now, but he was so nice with me and let me to stay as much as I need... I arrived at the perfect moment, one day before the Great Braderie of Lille started so Nico was hosting six people at the same time! It was one of the most amazing (and strange) experiences I've ever had, but so so funny... So, finnally, as I hadn't expected, I met a lot of couchsurfers from different countries who showed me how great this way of traveling is.

Interessi

Music: I like almost everything, but I prefer listening to pop-rock, classical, jazz, some electronic music...

Cinema: I really love going to the cinema, but it could be a bit expensive so I don't mind making some microwave popcorn and watch a great film at home. I love all genres, from old black&white films to the newest action movies.

Arts & Architecture: Two of my favorite subjects. As an architecture student I'm crazy about visiting all type of buildings, drawing and making models, and, as an art lover I like visiting museums and participating in cultural activities.

Traveling: Something that I love doing but I can not always do.

Musica, film e libri

Wes Anderson, The Cohen Brothers, Almodovar, Wong Kar Wai, Billy Wilder, Stanley Kubrick... I'm crazy about cinema! I love so many directors, actors/actress and films that I could spend half my life writing about them. But most than films I love watching them with someone, going to the cinema or staying at home with a huge popcorn bowl!

Music... wow! I should say I'm also crazy about music! Really, I love so many different styles, speccially classical music, jazz, some electronic and rock, of course! Groups as Caribou, MGMT, Toro y Moi, Matthew Dear, Coldplay, Radiohead... are my favourites right now, but there's always place to great musicians like Miles Davis, John Coltrane, J.S. Bach, A. Vivaldi, The Beatles...

And what about books?? I have always a lot of books all around me, but I'm sorry I can't read more than I do. Nowadays I'm so interested about architecture books that it's a long time since the last time I read a novel... there so many books I should read! but some that I really enjoyed are "The Catcher in the Rye" by Salinger, "Hamlet" by Shakespeare, "King" by John Berger and "Heart of darkness" by Conrad.
