Hey everyone!
This is Javier and Raphael, a French-Spanish couple traveling around the world.
A year ago we were both living in different countries, bored and frustrated about dull boring lives, so we decided to quit everything and go live an adventure.
We landed in Brisbane last April and live in Melbourne since July, but now's when the real adventure starts.

As a multicultural couple, we love meeting new people that teach us and change the way we see the world.

Interests

We watch an average of 2 tv shows every week plus a few films. We are avid Netflix watchers but also love the outdoors, enjoying the sun, long walks around a city or in nature. We can spend hours discussing current events, technology, politics, and we always have the music on.

Music, Movies, and Books

We have a very diverse taste in music between the two of us. At home you can often listen to artists as different as Ludovico Einaudi, Ariana Grande, Mumford & Sons, or The Beach Boys.
We love thrillers and films and tv shows that talk about social issues, as well as auteur films. But we have a weakness for tacky reality tv.
Javier has a very specific taste in books and reads almost exclusively female comedian autobiographies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We once spent a full day in Shanghai, with jet lag, no money, no phone, no Google Translator!

Teach, Learn, Share

We love learning and teaching about languages and culture.
Javier loves cooking and can share traditional Spanish and French recipes.
Raphael can play the piano and sings beautifully, although chances are he will mumble the lyrics. Javier can strum a ukulele because why wouldn't you want to see a tall man trying to play a tiny guitar?
