I used to be a traveller until early 2015 when I still lived in the Philippines, but when I moved to Canada, my focus and priorities have changed. I never get to have the luxury of time anymore to visit new places and explore different things because in 7 days a week, I work full-time from Monday to Friday as a Financial Advisor in a bank. There had been some huge changes in my lifestyle since I got here, but I know it was all for the better. I am a very practical person. If I can avoid spending as much as possible on unnecessary things, I'm fine settling with the cheapest, simplest, but something that can basically provide what I need. Over the time of living independently here in Canada, I've learned to appreciate the simple things that could make people happy. It's about good companionship, treating people with respect, and being true/honest.

Other things I think I can tell about myself, would be: I'm a dog & cat lover, I play volleyball & tennis, I like the outdoors, and probably a person who just wants to see and share the goodness of life to people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said on About Me, I'm a very practical person. If I can save money from getting a hotel for myself, I'm willing to sleep in someone's simple couch. I don't get to travel lots of places anymore because of the busy life I have now, but if I am here on couchsurf, it means I am either in a different city to do something really important or I've gotten the chance to actually have some time to relax which would be rare anyway, and I'd let you know the purpose of why I would surf from the very start. Aside from that, I am also willing to host people who I can help to save as well for costly accomodations, but please, in return of the kindness I will provide, show some gratitude by maintaining everything you use as how you first see it, and reciprocate the same respect that I will wholeheartedly give you. We can talk about a lot of things under the sun, I can even help you out as well if i have time, to know the best places to see in the city where I live now.

Interests

I enjoy outdoor activities, such as beach, mountain hiking, exploring the great wonders of nature but these were all back then when I used to have a lot of time when I wasn't yet working.
