I'm originally from Iran, Australian Citizen and New Zealand resident, so I call New Zealand home for now. I'm an environmental/climate change scientist working on the impacts of climate change and global warming on people's lives.

Like many of us here, I love travelling because it provides opportunities see things I've never seen, do thing I haven never done and meet whom I've never met 🙂.

I call myself a social-cultural traveller meaning that I'm intrested in meeting/talking with people (and listening to their stories) as much as I like visiting places (if not more🙃). I love observing different lifestyles, philosophies and attitudes towards life along the way and learn. The personal and cultural diversity across our planet makes me feel humble.

A few years ago, I had a mid-life crisis episode, when I came across some deep existential questions about the course of my life. So, I cut a lot of strings off and started travelling (call it a pilgrimage) to re-think my lifestyles, and re-construct it if I needed to. I think I've got over the most challenging part of the journey (hopefully), but still a long way to go. The take-home message for me, so far, was: "not to take life too seriously"

Anyway, long story cut short, I'm looking for some friendly and respectful interactins with like-minded people to share our little life stories, regardless of gender, skin complexsion, religion, economic situation, or other personal/cultural differences, as far as we respect each other.

Well...that's all I have to say for now. I'm looking forward to seeing and chatting with some of you in the future 🙂
