Overview
About Me
After enjoying my childhood immensely, i thought i would put my parents through me joining the British army, and travelled the world, seeing countries that most wouldn't dream of going to. However that era of my life came to an end after 13 years. I then worked as a close protection officer in london for a year, whilst helping my brother-in-law with his window fitting company, employed to take out windows, doors, conservatories, walls and even sometimes found that finding a water pipe under a window sill doesn't help to create a cleaner atmousphere in bathrooms. Lets just say that its lucky my Brother-in-law had his personal plumbing tool set with him.
I then found that i was eager to see other parts of the world, which on being asked by a certain girl i knew from my teenage days, i agreed to fly out to the caribbean and live on a sail boat with her, such a hard life!
Anyway, we left St martin and headed south to Saba, Statia, St Kitts, Nevis and then on the way to Antigua we met crazy head wind, so changed tack and ended up on Montserrat, where myself and my girlfriend have been ever since.
We now have 3 Puppy dogs and a Goat called Dinna
Everything else is now Future.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Due to living and earning in EC dollars, but having to move around the caribbean like a tourist, funding small trips is a massive tear in the bank balance.
I love meeting new people, and even though i'm quite tall, i don't take up much room.
I would sleep on a beach, or pitch a tent. However my girlfriend, family and well probably not my friends, would like me to be that little bit safer.
Nearly always have a smile on my face, and will help do some odd jobs for you if you have any, as i love to help and try to pay my way as much as possible.
Interests
Ooh so many interests
I could go on for a while on this subject, however i will name the ones at the top of my list.
I Freedive, Scubadive, Spearfish, Love Dogs, and try to do what i can for them on the island.
Enjoy cycling, but haven't got a Bike on the island yet!
Climbing has always been a passion, but has been put off for a while, whilst i'm learning the water skills i want to learn, but will soon be back and climbing again! And last but not least is Sailing, man the ocean is amazing.
