So I'm Jay from Britain, more specifically Wales. I'm 23 years of age and a Gemini. I'm a hair stylist, makeup artist and a barber. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The world can be a lonely place and if you let it but finding comfort and solace in a stranger and becoming more than that is possibly the most interesting, kindest and coolest thing a person can do. There's over 7 billion people on this green earth, why not share yourself among others. Plus, hotels are boring as fuck.

I love to wander, even if I don't have a purpose, just aimlessly wandering and stumbling onto something really cool. I love a bit of tele; currently obsessed with sense8, RPDR, Velvet and OITNB, if Netflix wasn't invented then I don't know what I'd do with myself. I'm a lover of art and culture; museums are one of my favourite pass times. During the night I like to one of two things. Either go out and dance the night away, or, shut the door and eat my body weight in crisps while shouting at my TV programmes

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: soooooo, I'm pretty into my rock music. Bands like Enter Shikari, Paramore, All That Remains etc. That being said, I quite like a bit of everything. Don't think I'm not straight up dancing when Beyoncé come on.

Movies: I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to movies. I'll watch anything and everything. Some of my favourites are Amélie, LOTR, Harry Potter and Pocahontas ( love that bitch). At the moment, I'm watching Hurricane Bianca over and over again. I know it's cheesy but I don't care.

Books: like my taste in films I love fantasy, so LOTR and Harry Potter are right up there. I love the classics like Shakespeare and Austin. My favourite classic is Dante's "Divine Comedy", it's so good.

I once chopped an onion without crying; I was quite pleased with myself if no one else was.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: if you're a bit rusty with a English I can definitely help you out. I love to bake and I try to cook. I know a few recipes, especially if you have a sweet tooth. If you're into hair and makeup I can provide a professional opinion and assistance.

Learn: like I said, I'm a linguist so I'm happy to listen to any language and try and soak it in, I could do with a few German lessons. Culture and art are what I travel for so I'm so down to experience any knowledge about anything.

Share: some laughs, some stories, some experiences and some company.
