Overview
About Me
I'm 29 years old and just graduated medical school. I've lived in Mississippi for my whole life, but I'm not a southern guy. I just matched for a 5 year radiology residency in Milwaukee, so I'm looking forward to experiencing life outside of the south. I'm engaged to a beautiful nurse from Chicago and we have two awesome Great Danes. I'm pretty quiet until we find one of the thousands of topics that I actually like talking about. Long, in depth discussions about anything except sports or celebrity news are where its at for me. If there's something to be learned or taught, I open up, especially over a few frosty pints. I'm very direct, honest, and strongly moral, but not religious. I love meeting new people, going new places, and learning about new things. That about sums it up.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A good buddy of mine has couchsurfed home and abroad for years and always talks about it. Since I'm trying to learn about Milwaukee, I figured this would be a good opportunity to meet some locals and save some money.
Interests
My hobbies, in no particular order, include: working on cars, building electronic circuits, building furniture, fishing, camping, canoeing, cooking, drinking, physics, video games, gambling, home and car A/V, and having long discussions about solving the world's problems.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: 311, Dirty Heads, Sublime, Rebelution, My Chemical Romance, AFI, Fall Out Boy, White Stripes, RHCP, TV on the Radio, Imagine Dragons, Foster the People, and most of the stuff that plays on alternative stations. Some rap, no country or classic rock.
Movies: Watchmen, The Departed, Garden State are some of my favorites. Comedies, superhero movies, and crime dramas are usually what's on.
TV: GoT, Breaking Bad, Dexter, Daredevil, Sopranos, True Detective, Family Guy, South Park, American Dad, King of the Hill, etc.
Books: I've got a good vocabulary and I read enough for school, so I don't do books very often.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Owned my own business, got hit by a van on a motorcycle, stitched part of a heart transplant. (Some of those are very normal for certain people, so take your pick)
Teach, Learn, Share
More than willing to teach anything that I know, grateful to learn anything anyone has to teach, and what's mine is yours, as long as you don't destroy it maliciously or neglectfully.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you need anything fixed around the house and have tools, I can help. Also very willing to help with any basic technology or automotive needs. I just finished medical school too, so if knowledge or experience with that will help you, you're welcome to it.
