About Me

Traveling is my passion. The best things in life are meeting new people and sharing in new cuisine, wine and culture. I love adventure and am always up for almost anything. I love any outdoor adventures, skiing, hiking, scuba, camping, etc. If an opportunity arises to try something new I am in. I love bicycling, motorcycles, anything really fast, Yoga (when I can make a class which admittedly is not often) I run a business which takes up most of my time along with being a Firefighter and spending time with family and friends generally leaves me just enough time to take a breath and plan my next trip.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When ever I travel it is always great to meet other travelers and share experiences. My friend introduced me to couch surfing in Tokyo and we met some amazing people, so I decided to open an account.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pink Floyd, Eric Church, Tool, Stevie Wonder, Eric Sermon, Black Sabbath, Willie Nelson, GZA...... so most any kind of music

Breakfast Club, Unforgiven, Clerks, Legends of the Fall, Role Models.....
John Irving, Ken Follet, Anything Philosophy, Robert Pirsig (The only Zen you can find on the tops of mountains is the Zen you bring up there.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Delivered a baby
Jumped off a cable car with a 400 ft bungee

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my skills at fixing almost anything. I can offer up a knowledge of fine wines and almost always buy a really nice bottle to share with new friends. I am always willing to cook a nice meal and would love to try anything that someone else cooks for me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A glass of great wine, a glass of ok wine, or even a glass of bad wine and a good story about the places we have been and the fun things we have done. I love hearing about peoples travels and sharing mine with them.
I can help you fix almost anything in a house.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Haiti, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, Monaco, Nicaragua, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, Virgin Islands, British, Virgin Islands, U.S.
