About Me

One time I asked some friends to describe me in a few adjectives, and 97% of them listed "chill," so I'd like to believe I'm decently laid back. I'm down for anything, but I take the lead in adventure when someone gives me a Red Bull. Let's get to exploring, yeah?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To make friends while traveling and craft some epic experiences!!
I want to meet the generous people around the world that open their home and their heart to others, and I want to do the same for them.

Interests

People who smile back at you when you pass each other on the street, laughing, eating tuna with crackers and playing Spyweb at 3am, what I imagine the streets of Rio De Janeiro look like, learning, things outside of my comfort zone, and YOUR interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely respect your music choice, and I'd be frickin elated having your music tastes shared with me. There's always room for learning more~

I could watch movies until I starved in front of the TV. My faves (for whatever reason.. Because I've seriously seen way too many movies) are:
Jurassic Park, Jaws, The Phantom of the Opera, The Princess and the Frog (I, without a single doubt, WILL cry every time Ray dies), Goodwill Hunting (ITS NOT YOUR FAULT), Star Wars, anything with Audrey Hepburn, and a bunch of others so I don't even know why I tried narrowing it down to favorites...

My favorite childhood book is Stone Fox and that's all I'll say if you ask me my favorite book; because I feel like people really judge off of your choice of book so there's no going wrong with children's books ;) [we can absolutely discuss books]

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cannon-balled into a river from ~25 ft high atop a tree, resulting in oval bruises on the back of my thighs that were bigger than a chihuahua. It... amazed me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about science, or at least what I remember from college (don't worry, I hoard knowledge, so I saved what I could from undergrad). We can learn about something new together, or you can spill your knowledge and I will collect it. We can share a milkshake; not to toot my own horn, but I'm a damn fine sharer.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Respect, comfort, conversation, easy friendship, open-mindedness, partner in crime, therapist, and a clean-after-herself type of temporary housemate.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Canada

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
