Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world. To learn the people and places. To experience as many adventures as one can.
ABOUT ME
I'd rather somebody write this for me, but I would describe myself as an easy-minded individual who finds enjoyment naturally. I'm blessed with good energy and people tend to realize this quickly. I enjoy hanging out anywhere (maybe a little bit to much) even if I'm slightly hungover and can usually mingle with all types of crowds. I have two younger brothers and lots of cousins. I adopted a dog four years ago from Turks and Caicos (I have never been there, yet). Currently, I live with three roommates who are all from my hometown.
PHILOSOPHY
Live your life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I plan on verifying myself after my first experience with this community. I'd be more than willing to show the city of Philadelphia through the way I see it. It would be tough to have a fellow member stay on my couch for an extended amount of time, because the dog tends to sleep there and I have roommates with girlfriends and people always come and go throughout the night. But if you are willing.....
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Other than college and sleeping on "friends" couches, I have zero experience in this community, yet.
Interests
Music, Sports, Adventures, Socializing and Relaxing. There are probably only a few things that I'm not interested in- none come to mind though.
- dogs
- architecture
- festivals
- running
- socializing
- music
- snorkeling
- skydiving
- sports
- history
- mountains
Music, Movies, and Books
Currently
Movies- foreign films and documentaries tend to move me but I also enjoy a wide range of movies.
Music- The Roots, Bright Eyes, Belle and Sebastian, Spoon, Okkervil River, The Band, Yann Tiersen, Weezer, TV on the Radio, At The Drive-In.
Books- Steinbeck's "The Pearl" was the last book I read. I'm about to start either "Devil in the White City" by Erik Larson or Malcolm Gladwell "The Outliers"
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I completed a Tough Mudder Adventure Race in the Poconos. I did a 10 mile run on Broad Street in 2008. I've slept out for the homeless on a winter night in the mountains. I participated in many of parades and festivals. Snorkeling, Skydiving, I ziplined in Punta Cana.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know sports. I have a vast knowledge of how the body works and develops. I'd be happy to provide a free personal training session at your gym (depending on their policies) or in the comfort of your own home. I like to learn about history and architecture. I think it's always better to share.
