Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm about to set off on a round the world trip with my #1. Looking for real experiences, and I think couch surfing is the best way to meet local people with stories to tell.

Radiohead are my band, perhaps if you hate them we can't be friends (kiddin). I like to dance to disco and house, because it's easy to dance to when you have no coordination

I really enjoy Sci Fi, 'The Matrix' being perhaps my favourite!

1984 or Brave New World. Can't decide which one is more impressive/terrifying!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's all relative this bit I suppose but....

Last year, I visited Tromso in Norway. Took a chance on seeing the northern lights, and paid for a tour. After a few hours and not a single glimpse of green, I passed out on the bus after giving up hope of ever seeing them.

I awoke to shouts and screams of joy as it became apparently that we had stumbled across massive activity in the sky. Once we pulled over and started surveying the scene, it was beyond belief.

I can only describe it as a huge green and blue Phoenix spouting purple flames moving in waves across the sky. I thought I was hallucinating. It was unreal, and I always think how lucky I am to have seen the Aurora Borealis in full flight. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to Juggle. We can make some juggling balls from some balloons and rice and you will have a party trick for life. Can't say fairer then that!

If we can skill swap that would make my trip. My friends are bored of me juggling the fruit bowl, I need another trick for the repertoire...
