About Me
Hey there!
I’m Jay, an easygoing traveler who loves connecting with people who see the world with curiosity.
I’m the type who can turn a random walk into a small adventure and a simple chat into a deep conversation.
I travel to learn, to listen, and to meet the kind of people who make the world feel smaller and kinder.
I’m all about cozy nights, good laughs, meaningful talks, and spontaneous adventures, exploring local corners that don’t make it to the guidebooks, and building friendships that last longer than a trip.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe the best part of travel is the people you meet along the way.
It’s about sharing stories, learning from different ways of life, and turning short encounters into lasting friendships.
I love the idea of seeing cities through the eyes of locals and offering the same warmth in return, one coffee, one laugh, one good memory at a time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One night, I couldn’t sleep, so I opened a flight app and found a cheap ticket leaving in three hours.
No plan, no hotel, no idea what I was doing. I took a quick shower, threw some clothes in a bag, bought the ticket, and left for a country I’d never even Googled.
By sunrise, I was wandering through unknown streets with a coffee in hand, completely free, meeting people, getting lost, and feeling alive in the best way possible.
That trip taught me that sometimes, the best decisions are the ones you don’t overthink.
