I like riding my bike around the city at night, cooking, friends+beer, friends+wine+cheese, windows, forests.

Right now I'm working on my PhD at Cornell and enjoying gorgeous Ithaca.

Generally, I'm interested in things that I know about. I'm interested in knowing more about more things. I've wanted to be a biologist for most of my life, and I'm currently doing a PhD in evolutionary biology to turn my obsession into a career (hopefully).

I've stood in the middle of an abandoned airfield in south Texas, and listened to Shostakovich's 4th Symphony loudly while storm clouds threw lightning bolts in the distance.
