I grew up as an Army brat, so I've lived all over the United States, and also spent 6 years in Germany (Hanau and Augsburg). I also did a 3-month artist residency in Berlin in 2011. So I'm a bit of an international soul... America is nice, but I love Europe, and I loved the couple weeks I spent in Japan in 2005. Some day I'd love to live out there.

I'm conversational in German and Japanese, although I'd love to get fluent some day.

I've been a New Yorker for the past 13+ years (the longest I've lived anywhere), although recently I'm considering other places to live.
