ABOUT ME

We are a couple living in the Stockholm suburb Upplands Väsby.

Jimmy:
A fulltime musician born and raised in Sweden. He's dedication to music fills our lives with concert visits, vinyl collection, home studio recordings and just lots of music in general. He also is the flat chef and will definately cook something during your stay!

Karin:
An estonian beauty who is a very successful headhunter and also the most sociable person in the world. She wants to, and will make sure your stay will be an experience to remember. She always has lots of ideas and activities that everyone can join in to. Days are just not long enough for all the good times Karin is cooking.

PHILOSOPHY

To be the best you can be. Every day. Noone can expect more of you than that, and you cannot regret that you did not put in your best. Jimmy lives, eats and breathes for music, and at the same time is the kindest, sweetest, funniest man that ever lived. Neither one of us has had the chance to feel bored for such a long time, that it would be kind of exotic to wake up one day and to not HAVE to do anything :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have both travelled quite a bit and over time got tired of real tourist sagas on the one hand and the extreme budget hostel travel on the other. We would like to get the local "real" experience on most trips (plenty of the rest with work travels), and also to see a lot of historic or naturally beautiful spots. In return, we have a lot to offer to people, whose mission is similar to ours :) So - welcome to surf with us and we hope to surf a number of your fantastic couches along the way!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since we only discovered couchsurfing so recently, we hosted our first ever guest in the end of August, and were hosted by two different surfers in Puerto Rico. All experiences have been fantastic!

Interests

We are intrested in music, good wines and food, films, nature activities (fishing, mushroom picking) and sports occasionally. Jimmy is strong in general knowledge and Karin in geography and history. Whilst Jimmy's work takes him around the globe anyways, Karin's mission is to travel the World slowly but surely at her own pace :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jimmy has played before a full house of 15,000 people in Japan at 11.30AM in the morning. Karin has dived with Great White Sharks in South Africa.
