I live in SW Portland close to Tigard. It's a 40 minute bus ride and a 20ish minute drive to downtown/the pearl.

I love dogs, hiking along wooded trails, cooking good eats (chili, soups, roasted veggies), and making friends.

I have used couchsurfing on a trip half way across the US and made some great friends. I hope to be able to return the favor in my Portland home.

I also like to travel a lot and use couchsurfing to find hosts in new cities. I think of couchsurfing as a platform for people to meet and connect in a world that can sometimes feel detached and impersonal.

All of the people I have met through couchsurfing have been welcoming and kind people who take interest in other people's travel and lives. I enjoy meeting others who are like this!
