ABOUT ME

Hey-oh fellow travelers,

I spend most of my time making robots, but I like to travel and meet people as much as possible. When I was younger I spent a lot of time wandering around South America, but now that I've grown up and gotten a real job I don't have that luxury. Hopefully though I can still get around from time to time and meet some cool people along the way. Also I've got a super-friendly black lab - don't worry though he gets along with everybody.

Books I like:
The Maltese Falcon, The Gadfly, The Devil's Alternative, Battle of Wits, Cat's Cradle, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Nightwork, On The Road, The Count of Monte Cristo, Catch-22...and many, many more.

Some movies I enjoy:
are the typical favorites like Fight Club, Memento, and anything Pixar makes. I really like foreign films like Amores Perros (Dog Love / Love's a Bitch), Amélie, O Homem Que Copiava (The Man Who Copied), and Cidade de Deus (City of God). Of course, as a male, quality action flicks like Kill Bill, Ong Bak, and the Bourne trilogy get high marks on my list. Like anybody I also love comedies, particularly The Hangover, Rushmore, The Jerk, Superbad, and Airplane!

I listen to:
a pretty eclectic range of music, but I especially enjoy anything that makes me want to dance. You'll frequently find me rocking out to the likes of Muse and Rise Against. I enjoy some hip hop a la Atmosphere, Felt, and CunninLynguists. I listen to instrumental music a lot because it's easy for me to tune out while I work.
