Jayro Espinal has been glued to a camera since the age of 14, growing up in new york city was his source of inspiration.The building blocks of his work ethic and his curiosity to explore.He is self-taught and has learened photography through experimenting and futher independant self study

Jayro’s free spirited nature refuses to be bound to a single genre of photography. From portrait shoots to shooting of mouth watering food photography. Jayro’s personality always finds its way into and out of photographs, Leaving a lasting impression on those he meets and those he hasn’t even met yet.

He refuses to believe that his gear or any piece of equipment is what makes his work professional he’s a firm believer that your work ethic and Knowledge is what matters and should embody Professionalism, the gear comes second. The Camera is merely just a piece of him, A tool if you will to solve the task at hand. His intuitive nature and his resourcefulness is what makes his work truly magical. Don’t be surprised if he macgyver’s a lighting tool out of napkins and tape and any other items he finds around him. Whatever the situation seemingly impossible he’ll make it possible
in 2010 he’s most recent editorial work captured singer/song writer from the group “Toro y moi’s” Chazwick Bradley Bundick which was used in Art Nouveu magazine in france.
He’s work has been recently recognised by VSCO Cam and show cased on their curated blog.
