我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Hosted a few, surfed a bunch, always looking to connect. CS has taken me places I never would have dreamed, perfect wild adventures. Hosting, surfing, sharing stories and stories and stories and stories! You truly meet the most interesting and amazing people through CS. And of course, it helps you to travel for cheap. Couchsurfing + hitchhiking combo cannot be beat!

兴趣

Right now, I am obsessed with my glue gun and have been trying new crafty ideas like button headbands, googly-eyed picture frames, and bottlecap coasters - preschool will do that to you. I like trying liquors from different countries (read: Pálinka) - I guess maybe preschool will do that to you too. I am interested in trying new things in any shape or form. Also learning more about modern European history while I'm here. I try to have no fears and no judgements. People interest me a lot but gosh so does just everything around me really.

音乐、电影和书籍

Music: I really like My Morning Jacket, the Allah-Las, and Tame Impala. And I must put a mention of Creedence Clearwater Revival in here too. Throw in some Hot Chip. Plus some disco. And the local Czech bands here are insane. Do singalongs count?

Movies: Always can appreciate a good documentary, currently in love with Louis Theroux. Some movies I could watch over and over and over and over again include Boogie Nights, The Fall, The Holy Mountain, Amelie, American Psycho, Enter the Void, or anything associated with David Lynch (I'm a sucker).

Books: My favorite book is The Plague by Albert Camus. One of the only books I've reread several times... I think I'm due again actually. I'm (!)always(!) down for a great book recommendation! Currently reading (and laughing at) Catch 22.

And I know no one asked, but Mr. Show may be the best thing to ever be on television.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Moving to Prague was the best decision I have ever made in my life. A solid home base with access to so many other lovely European gems. My favorite destination is Istanbul - the week I spent there was absolutely magical, and I can't wait to return.
