We have just shifted to Hyderabad but I continue to travel. Hence the couch in Pune is off till the time Hyderabad is functional. :)

Jayesh: Been a seeker and an experimenter all my life. Read extensively, especially Philosophy, Religion & Jiddu Krishnamurti. Becoming more aware and want to meet people who are also seeking, reaching out and wanting to make a difference, knowing that eventually all differences are really minute and probably not the effort that we thought they demanded. :)

Zarna: Housewife, mother to three, daughter in law, wife, Business partner to Jayesh, Administrator & Accounts Manager for our business, CSHost,.... I am a follower, and am quite laid back about most things.

We have lived in Muscat, Oman, Dubai and Sharjah in the UAE, Hyderabad, Mumbai and now Pune. Travelled around a bit and are quite international. Enjoy meeting people and sharing what we can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By being open to all who ask for a couch and then seeing what transpires. To date we have only had one guest who actually used CSing as a hotel site. Nevertheless there was lot to learn from the same person.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Long back my ex colleague and his family couchsurfed with me in Dubai. This was way back in 1988/9 before couchsurfing as we now know and participate. End result was, I ended up marrying his second daughter after managing to keep away from the first one. This is a big story, you must get me drunk first. I wish that the CS site was up at that time. At least some choice I would have had before deciding on Zarna. :)I am now waiting for the End. They say, all's well that ends well. So we are screwing things up all the time and will END things well. Heh heh....

Apart from my father in law and others before CSing, Arvind was our first CSGuest as a Couchsurfing family. :) We certainly liked him, and his knowledge. The kids also enjoyed his pictures of wildlife.

Since then we have had Fotini,Greek, then an American couple, Lucie from France, Ilse and Dorotee from Germany, Phillippe & Valeska who stayed longer than Lucie (more than a month and that is a long story), and a few more...........

Semantics, Etymology, Anthropology & Specious reasoning - u need to know the last and the first if you want to understand what & how people use false arguments all the time.

Like being rational most of the time but then at times the irrational does take over. Read a lot on Pyschology and Philosophy still.

child, home schooling, and the heart burn involved.
Running a business and how not to run the same. :)

Fear and how it affects all of us, and how we are managing to live with it and grow from understanding the same.

Hope to eventually start a school, a small school, where young people will actually unlearn, and do things as they should decide & not as per others.
