Overview
About Me
Jamie here, welcome to my profile. I'm an ambitious person and enthusiastic when it comes to trying new things!
Currently work as a cocktail bartender (Mixologist) at a five-star hotel in Dublin city, where I'm from. I like this job because it let's me be creative and it can be a lot of fun most of the time. However I'm chasing my dream job to become a Paramedic Practitioner - so I will be moving to London to do this very shortly.
When I'm not working I like to spend my free time with family & friends, having fun, volunteering, and doing exciting things :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've always enjoyed travelling, however I do not get the chance to do it often enough!
I hope that making a CS profile will bring to me a different opportunity to see the world, and also to make new friends in different countries :)

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to cinema, I am a sucker for drama. One of my most favourite films is Her (2013) directed by Spike Jonze. The plot of this movies is about a man who develops an intimate relationship with his Operating System (think of iOS Siri - yes very strange), and how they influence one another's perception of love and life.
I am very open minded with all types of music genres, but I prefer listening to Alternative Rock the most. Some of my favourite bands include The Smashing Pumpkins, Muse, The Strokes, and Lana Del Rey.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Got the chance to stand at the peak of the highest mountain in Germany - Zugspitze when I was eight years old.
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe in kindness - it is magic of the real world.
Helping a person in need can make a big difference to them, that is why I find doing volunteer work in first aid very fulfilling.
Countries I’ve Visited
England, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, United States, Wales
