CURRENT MISSION

My mission, really, is to bring beautiful music to life in all contexts. I play piano for a living and I absolutely LOVE what I do.

ABOUT ME

I am kind of a 'rennaisance' man, I suppose. I love the arts (theater, movies, music, dance), I love to travel, I love to cook, I love to be outdoors, I love other cultures, I love FOOD, I love to dance a LOT.....

I am easy-going - in the sense that I like to be friendly and 'hang out'. But I also enjoy being alone. I don't make many demands of people and I like to be considerate of others as much as possible.

As far as travelling goes, I LOVE it. I am adventurous and I enjoy visiting new places all the time. At the same time, I am also a home-body. I have no problem staying at home and making it a cozy place to be.

Most of all, I consider myself to be kind and considerate. I like to be around others who are the same.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that what comes around, goes around. If you are kind to others, then others will be kind to you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am VERY interested in participating in this network of people who HELP people.

Although I currently am between homes, I am very excited to host people from time to time. What a wonderful way to spread goodwill around the globe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 1999 I travelled in Europe (and Israel) for 4 months and found MANY people who were gracious to me in my travels. People offered me rooms, couches...I even dated a Danish woman for a month...

I have hosted many people in my life. One time, I had 2 sisters that stayed in my house for 2-3 weeks while visiting from Canada for a dance workshop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I toured India and Sri Lanka playing music - sponsored by the US State Dept and The Kennedy Center for Performing Arts (Washington, D.C.)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my love of jazz music. I have been playing the piano since I was 5 years old!

I also know the San Francisco bay area quite well. If you are travelling here, I will help out as much as I can - places to hike, restaurants, sites....etc
