Saying that you are "open minded" on your couch surfing profile is a bit redundant, isn't it? I mean, if you are open to the idea of staying with or sharing your home with a complete stranger.

My name is Jose and I'm from Colombia. I have the immense privilege to be living in Korea surrounded by amazing people, friends, and breathtaking views throughout the seasons of the year. I live in Seoul sandwiched in between Itaewon and Han river in a fantastic location.

Though, I'm always willing and up to show you around my home city and hang out. That sounds like a good idea! I'm always open to making new friends, pushing myself to learn different languages and have a good time together.

I Enjoy meeting people from all around! Depending on people and the situation I can be outgoing, confident and friendly. No matter the circumstances, every second I'm keen to spread optimism :D. I love the challenges, always aiming to learn.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard for first time about CS 7 years back, when I used to have close friends settled in Australia, Korea and Bogota which had positive experiences with Couchsurfing and they suggested me to join and encouraged me to be active CSfer.

Most the time I go on a trip alone and the idea of spending time watching TV and browsing internet in the hotel room makes me scared, when I would better spend unforgettable with locals sharing stories :)

My favorite thing about Couch Surfing is that it allows travelers to stay with locals so that they get a completely different view of a city rather than just going to typical tourist attractions.
