ABOUT ME

I'm a disciple, rock climber, student, traveler, outdoor enthusiast. I don't shower more than 4 times a week, I wash my clothes every other to every third month, I am in love with dark chocolate. I enjoy cooking and eating, but hate cleaning up and really like to learn about other cultures, but I'm horrible at knowing what to ask.

I am married to my wonderful wife and team mate, Alexandra. By the time you read this (July 2018), we will have at least one baby boy, Jacob Mauzy. Since we have a newborn, we are not hosting anyone except for people we know. If we have interacted before, send me a message! If not, send me a message and let's meet up, but don't expect to stay with us.

Recently, I have begun hunting and trying to spend a lot of time out of doors, learning to live a more sustainable, low impact lifestyle. This means a lot of my recent traveling has been camping, hiking, etc. If anyone would be interested in any of these activities, send me a message!

PHILOSOPHY

I worship the Living God, I want live my life to bring Him glory. Everything happens by His will, so there is some type of joy in every event to be found.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My living situation doesn't lend itself to host unless I know you personally (hosted or surfed with before, or know in some other way). So now a days I do a little surfing, and I try to attend local events once or twice a month.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Each couch surfing experience has been different and interesting and fun, except one. I love the community and enjoy any time I get to spend with fellow sufers. Right now I have not been able to spend as much time with the Couchsurfing as I use to, but I am still here and looking forward to getting back involved at some point in the near future.

Lately I've started to enjoy more fiction books, all recommendations are warmly welcomed.
