ABOUT ME

Graduated school at WMU. Got stuck owning a house in Kalamazoo. Finally sold so we could live our lives. Headed to Florida to be near ma-in-law where we had an excellent set up, working minimal hours/week and paying little for rent. This gave us time to prepare for hiking on the Pacific Crest Trail on the West Coast of the United States. We've been backpacking all summer (2011) and are diversifying our travels by looking to go to South or Central America. Just trying to experience as much as we can while on this planet and not willing to wait for retirement!

PHILOSOPHY

Be happy and try to make others happy. Love and family is the most important thing in this life. Making sure to appreciate the little things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked all of Southern California on the PCT (20 miles of hiking per day) desert conditions.
