About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To warm up somewhere hot, it is currently -38C right now

ABOUT ME

We have been together for 5 and a half years. We met in high school and started dating in University. After 3 long years of University together, I am excited to start working on my second degrees (I will be applying for the History Masters Program next year). I am currently working at the Archives of Manitoba as an Archivist. Stephanie will be teaching September 2011.

PHILOSOPHY

If you want to feel rich, just count the things you have that money can't buy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have couchsurfed once in Miami and loved it! We try to travel as much as possible, but because we are both students we find it hard to financially afford some places we would love to visit. Not only that, but we would rather stay with locals and truly enjoy the whole atmosphere of the place we are visiting.

Interests

sports such as hockey and soccer, camping, hiking, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, movies, music, animals.

Music, Movies, and Books

We are all about movies! There is nothing better than sitting down and watching a good movie such as American History X, Good Fellas, shawshank redemption, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, and so on...I personally enjoy live and acoustic music ranging from alternative, rock to metal. We are always interested in hearing local talent. Because of University, I mainly read History books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Our road trip through Cuba with a local was amazing. We decided to stay in local houses along the way as well. We visited local hot spots a few hours of our Havana City. The poverty is so extreme that it is eye-opening but the country itself is so beautiful. The people were fantastic, they even gave us a new tire when the car broke down. We look forward to going back again some time in the future.
