About Me

To create a profound impact on another individual by living a life of example.

***Due to the recent wave of couch request via msgs I would like to kindly inform any prospective surfers that I only accept request made through actual couch request system. I enjoy receiving messages but not for the purpose of substituting a properly thought-out couch request which also explains why it would be MUTUALLY beneficial for me to host you. Thank you.***

I would best describe myself as a person of discovery. I am in a constant need to learn new things and I am never satisfied just being. I have an insatiable hunger for discovery and improvement and will constantly be trying to do too much at the same time. I look at everyday as an opportunity to learn new things, meet new people, and experience things that I have never experienced before.

This could be part of the reason why I am attempting to be fluent in 8 languages learn 12 different types of cuisine styles and also regularly play 8 different sports. I have also played a collection of woodwind, brass, string, and percussion instruments of school bands, concerts, and worship bands. I have lived in 4 different countries (Philippines, China, Canada, and HK) and have visited 24 different cities.

I also enjoy photography, acting (mostly improv), rock climbing, cooking, and anything I haven't tried yet.

Please say Hi as I always enjoy meeting new people.

Favorite Quotations:
Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.

-Proverbs 3:5-6

Wisdom is looking at life from God's point of view. A leader is one who knows with greater than average stength of conviction what he wants to get done and where he wants to go.

Life is like a coin, you can spend it any way you wish, but remember, you can only spend it once.

The true feeling of happiness comes from knowing that you have lived your life to its fullest and have made a positive impact in someone else's life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am part of the Open Arms Committee at my University and I actively participate in events with students from over 82 countries. I have friends from almost every culture and am attempting to learn 8 languages before I turn 30. =) I am actively spreading the word about CS and I will hopefully be able to be more active as I gain experience and insight.

Couchsurfing has opened up a world of opportunities to meet people from around the world. I've definitely benefited from the sharing of ideas and collective knowledge of other travelers from all corners of the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

My goal in life is to create a positive life-changing impact in as many people as I possibly can. My legacy will not be in the money I make, the houses I have, or the cars that I may drive; It will be the impact I had on the people of this world and how their lives have been forever changed because of how God used me in their lives.
