ABOUT ME
I'm a science teacher and public presenter in Nova Scotia, Canada. Fairly typical nerdy 20-something guy. I'm clean and quiet and pretty laid back.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just starting out! I'm planning a solo trip to New York and I'd like to do it without going broke. Meeting someone to talk to would be great too. I'd be happy to host in the future.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None so far, but looking forward to it.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love anything by Tarantino or the Coen Brothers, I watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy at least once a year.
I like a pretty wide range of music. Mostly folk and classic rock. Particularly stuff I can pick out on the guitar.
The last great book I read was "The Better Angels of Our Nature" by Stephen Pinker. I like nonfiction and usually stick to books about technology, psychology, religion, or math.
A lot of my 'reading' is done with audio books. I'm also really into podcasts.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Grand Canyon is hard to beat!
Teach, Learn, Share
I do science workshops and presentations mostly for kids in schools, but I also do some TV and radio and live public events. I can teach you some cool science experiments and tricks to show off in bars. I can juggle passably well.
