CURRENT MISSION

Currently, I am taking aim at exploring lands I've never seen. To be more precise, I am on a self-guided tour of Northern Europe.

ABOUT ME

They would probably say that I am generally adventurous and friendly; musically, mechanically, and intellectually inclined; and love to learn new skills while meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in good times and good people. Cliche I know, but true nonetheless. I hold more beliefs, such as free beer on Mondays, all batteries should be half the price they are now.. but conversation will be a good catalyst for both my beliefs and whomever else I speak with.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the summer of 2011 a wonderful person named Katie was able to provide for me a meal and a location to sleep for the night. To date, I am looking to entertain surfers and surf some myself.

Interests

Music first and foremost fascinates me. I live to play any instrument I can get my hands on and learn the ones with which I have the least experience. Secondly, as I am a student, I enjoy learning at all times. I feel that knowledge comes through literature equally as much as through real life experiences. Certainly there is more, but I find conversation more enticing than typing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy H.P. Lovecraft to begin with. Several books have been good to me over the years, such as Youth in Revolt, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Into The Wild, To Kill a Mockingbird, DMT: The Spirit Molecule, An Introduction to Modern Astrophysics... Some Awesome movies: Natural Born Killers, Jacob's Ladder, Altered States, Cannibal the Musical...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are many. In the summer of 2011 I had the extreme good fortune to see much of the Rocky Mountains in America. I would say one particular image that stands out is a view looking back over the distance I had traveled at the base of the Rockies in Wyoming. There was a rocky barrier between where I had been and where I was standing that seemed to quantify pure beauty. Another would be touring around Ohio with my band for two years, that was very exciting and definitely fun.
