I have no couch surfing experience.

Interests

I enjoy going to see live orchestras and enjoy playing classical piano. I have a strong interest in the fine arts, practice, theory, and history. I enjoy creative writing. Most of my time is taken slaving over school, work, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy movies, I love any Marx Bros. movie. Good movie I saw recently: Screaming Masterpiece, a documentary on Icelandic music including Bjork, Sigur Ros, Mum, Amiina, et. al.

I read a lot, philosophy of course, but also enjoy Latin American literature, poetry and short stories of all kinds. Favorite authors: Vicente Huidobro, Cesar Vallejo, Alejandra Pizarnik, Delmira Augustini among others.

Music: Ani Difranco, Andrew Bird, Joanna Newsom, Mum, Amiina, GYBE, Hangedup, Hrsta, A Silver Mt. Zion, The Decemberists. Jazz: Coltrane, Pharaoh Sanders, AEC, MyCoy Tyner. Classical: Liszt, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Ligeti, Ravel among others.
