To learn everything from everyone.
I really believe in the philosophy behind the CS idea, the idea of sharing and learning. It's delightful and exciting to have the opportunity of meeting and knowing about people from every corner of the world.
So I really enjoy talking and listening to those brothers and sisters, as to help and be useful to them.
"From each according to his ability, to each according to his need"
"Resistance is useless"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Sometimes I attend the meetings and events. I had already hosted many people, met dozens of travellers and locals and helped organizing some parties (including some on my place).
Such amazing experiences. Now, after some years of CS, I got some new friends I can't live without, I was presented to the culture from some of the greatest places in the world, I have been listening to tons of histories from CSers all over the world. That's simple amazing. Could not be better.
Traveling, of course.
Meeting people, going to parties, learning, movies, books, sports and spoons.
Music, Movies, and Books
Samba, rock, funk, pagode, sertanejo, MPB, classical music, regional songs, etc...
One song I like: Alanis Morissette - No Pressure Over Cappuccino.
Reading is something I really like to do. My interests vary from a wide range, from classical romances to political essays, including also sociology, sci-fi, fantasy, HQs, history, etc..
One Book I Like:
Sidharta - Hermann Hesse.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The atmosphere of Sarajevo city, in Bosnia.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you the whole lyrics from the Muppet Babies cartoon's theme. I can show you funny words and phrases in Brazilian Portuguese and some important aspects of our culture, like making a good caipirinha or playing football like a boss, which means playing it with "jeito moleque".
Also, I want to learn something from you. It could be a play on chess, the history of your life or how to understand the ethnic conflict on the Balkans countries. I'm very into political and social views, so, if you want, I'd love to discuss that. Or anything you wanna talk about.
I am just kidding. Don't take me too serious.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I could share my bills, my sadness, my cockroach's collection or my fear of being trapped inside my pants, but I'd prefer to share one, two, three, eleven beers and some histories, if you don't mind.
