I am 23, fresh out of university and moved to Toronto since June 2015. Graduated from the University of Western Ontario and studied computer science. I started an internet business and I do some freelancing which is what's funding my travels. I'm a geek and I'm proud.

I love meeting new people from different walks of life and from different parts of the world. I also love learning different skills. I want to live life abundantly and experience as much as I can while I'm alive :D

I flew out to Paris to meet some friends a few weeks ago, but I haven't bought a ticket back to Canada :P I actually plan on travelling around Europe for a few months. I'd love to meet some new people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because:
1. I'm on a budget
2. I want to meet new people, travel buddies, life long friends
3. Travelling on a budget is the best way to travel, what's the point in living in 5 star hotels if you don't get to mingle with the locals, or experience life, food, or culture in a new city/country?

Interests

I love martial arts, had 7 boxing matches, and I recently started doing MMA in Toronto. One of my reasons for travelling is to learn different martial arts disciplines around the world!

So far I've learned some Sanda (Chinese Kickboxing) in China, and more recently Savate (French Kickboxing) in Paris.

I love playing the guitar, I used to be in a rock band back in high school, but after moving to University, I realized no one listened to rock anymore, everyone's more into house music (which I like too, but damn I miss rock). I occasionally jam with my roommate in Canada. So if you like to jam out, maybe we'll get along :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Music:
At the moment there's no particular music I like, but I used to love rock (still do). My favourite band of all time was avenged sevenfold. Love me some Michael Buble now, or some T-swizzle, Ed Sheeran, love some Drake obviously since I lived in Canada for about 5 years. I don't have a preference in terms of genre, it really depends on my mood.

Favorite Movies:
Marvel Movies, Batman Movies, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, Creed, Battle Royale, Fight Club, American History X, Incendies, Good Will Hunting. I like adventure movies, or movies that are emotionally heavy.

Favorite Books:
The 4 hour work week, education of millionaires, vagabonding the uncommon guide to the art of long term world travel, rich dad poor dad, i like self help books. I like story books too but i haven't read any in a while.

Live life to fullest while you still can. Find ways to maximize your experiences in your youth. Don't wait till you're 65, by then you'd be too old to do all the fun stuff. READ books about self-improvement. Be a better person. Love more.
