I am an optimist, open-minded, and open-hearted. I run my life under two mantras: "Let it Be" and the "Golden Rule." I don't like to dwell on negatives or things that I cannot control. Rather, I thrive off positive energy and fight to change the things that I can have an impact on. I love being active - enjoy playing sports, hiking, climbing, exploring, etc. I love to cook -- any and all types of food. And, I love music -- something about music connects to my soul. Truly good music evokes such a strong emotional response and can move you, not only physically, but spiritually.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am excited to host other members of the CS2 community and show them what DC has to offer. I am familiar with several hiking trails, museums, dining options, social events, and nightlife options in the area and would love to introduce people to living in DC, outside the typical tourist spots. I am more than happy to participate in this both before and after I engage in travels myself. I will most likely be abroad, however, from January of 2009 to October of 2009.
