Hi Guys! My name is John, I'm 28 and I'm too laid back for my own good. Really easy going guy, over anything I enjoy good humor and good people. I'm trying to get as much traveling and experiences in as I can before "Real Life" sets in. I love jokes, music, good times and great stories. People intrigue me more than anything and really enjoy just chatting with different people and getting their perspective on things. I'll eat and drink anything, complain less than I should and overall too passive for my own good.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing because I believe its the way traveling should be done. Eating, drinking and laughing with locals is my main reason for traveling, and I think couch surfing is the most direct way to accomplish that. I don't have much experience with couch surfing necessarily, but I have done my share of Woofing, Workawaying and general volunteering in quite a few countries.

Interests

I love making people laugh and I think a great story is the greatest gift you can give anyone. I love music mostly classic rock and Alt-Country. I've been playing Guitar for about 10 years so anything music-instrument related I'm all ears. I love quirky facts and strange history.

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess language practice would be the first thing that comes to mind. I've also been playing guitar for about 10 years now and can probably teach you any song you want to learn how to play. I also have a big bank of terrible jokes..

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my life's experiences, I'm an open book. I can share anything you may want to know about Canada or any of the countries I've been. I can pick up whats needed to cook dinner or a few beers if that's where the night is heading. I'm not much of a cook but am more than happy to help out with anything needed around the house or otherwise while I'm am your guest:-)
