My mission is to see the world and experience different ways of life during my up and coming years. If those experiences change or reinforce my outlook on life, then I will consider them a success.
Well, let's see. I'm about to embark on another 4 year journey of education. But I think it's high time I experience some of the culture and people of other countries. I'm 6'5" and athletic, love music (playing, singing, writing, listening), and am pretty much a goof. Don't take life too seriously... you'll miss the best parts. I've lived in Kansas City all my life, but have spent the last two years in Indiana at Ball State University, where I play Division I volleyball. I'm going to be going into the Navy following dental school as, well... a naval dentist. I'm excited for that and the traveling it will allow me to do. But in the meantime, I'm wanting to do some traveling on my own agenda!
"For a long time, it seemed to me that life was about to begin: Real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be got through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life." -- Fr. Alfred D'Souza
Live life, love life. Meet people, experience people. Try new things. Become new things. Embrace obstacles. Overcome obstacles. BE YOU!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm starting off just simply by looking for some couches to surf as I venture through Europe in the coming years. Once I get a place of my own this summer, my couch will definitely be open to anyone and everyone!
I'm completely new to this, but also completely enthralled by it. At 22, I have traveled many places around the U.S. Now it's time to go outside these borders to the world beyond. Once I read about couch surfing, I knew this was the way I wanted to experience it.

Always carry a camera. You never know when the most unique and opportune moment may present itself to forever engrain upon a photograph.
Read! It's a pity how many American students these days don't enjoy reading. There is so much to be found within literature. There is nothing quite like conveying the thoughts of the mind through the written word.
