I'm a PhD student at Keio University, Tokyo. It's my fifth year living and studying in Japan. I also work part-time as a language teacher and interpreter/ translator.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love travelling, seeing new places and meeting new people. While in Japan, I try to travel around as much as possible to get acquainted with people from different prefectures and learn more about their lifestyle and heritage. I also very much enjoy hanging out with foreigners living/ studying/ working in Japan, they always have an awesome story to tell.
And Couchsurfing is an wonderful way to travel and meet new people.

Intereses

I like travelling, outdoor activities, skiing, literature, art, painting, and languages.
I enjoy meeting and hanging out with new people and having a nice intelligent conversation with them.
At university I study Art History.

Música, películas y libros

I like Rock'n'Roll music (mostly old American and Australian bands, like AC/DC), and I also enjoy listening to some of the Japanese pop music.

I watch a lot of American and British tv series. I love 19-20th century classic American and English literature (Jack London, Fenimore Cooper, Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, etc.). I'm more or less well acquainted with Russian and Japanese classics. And I have a lot of favourites among modern literature, animation, manga, and light novels.

I'm always open to learn something new and I'm really happy when somebody wants me to teach them something I know.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I work part-time as a language tutor, so I could teach you some Russian, English or Japanese. And, of course, I can tell you a lot about Russian culture, its traditions and customs. Besides I can share my experience of living and studying in Japan. We can talk about travel, art, history, literature, languages.
