ABOUT ME

Goodness gracious--good morning!

I love what life has to offer--and I've barely scratched the surface! My friends join me on this fun journey, and I love meeting new people for new adventures. I absolutely Love traveling, and extensive, far-off trips are yet to come. So far it's been Colorado, New Mexico, California, and Ohio (and a tiny bit of Juarez, Mexico). I'll find my way across the globe soon enough hopefully. I want to live in/visit Europe, India, Sri Lanka, Japan, China, Asia, Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Jamaica--you know what? Stick me anywhere I haven't been before and I'll go there with a smile on my face. I want to get into the nooks and crannies of the world.

I think life is a wonderful playground of opportunities. It's all just figuring out what to try out first and sharing joy with others along the way. There's so much more to the fascinating people each of us are than meets the mind's eye.

PHILOSOPHY

As I sat on the front porch of the house I learn and practice meditation in, the woman whose yoga class ran long said to me, "I think the next class doesn't start for another half hour--but you have a book to read. Enjoy."

I intend to do simply that. Enjoy.

My interests are like a basket of fruits -- sweet and bright. I'm often practicing my guitar, writing songs, going out and seeing live music; and more active things as well like hiking (I'm always out in the beautiful Franklin mountains) and yoga. I also meditate as often as I can and have just recently (this morning) finished reading a book on NVC, which I loved and hope to be trained in someday. Reading, writing, drinking tea, hanging out with friends, watching movies, playing video games, and going to city events like Sun City Music Festival are some of my favorite things to do.
