About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make the most of everyday!

ABOUT ME

I have one foot in the corporate world and one in the creative. I manage projects and negotiate real estate contracts for a living and create films and dream up documentaries for fun. I love storytelling, exploring, creating and learning new things every day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is a great way to connect with other travelers. It makes business travel much more enjoyable, and it makes the world feel like a smaller and warmer place. There are so many amazing people in the world and I'd like to meet more of them :).

Interests

CREATIVITY, breaking out of the standard, I love life's little differences, I love details and change. So basically I like a lot of different things, from sushi to snowboarding, jungle running to mt. biking. Anything involving adventure, speed, or the unknown.

  • film making

  • split boarding

Music, Movies, and Books

The Artist's way, I like Ken Wilber's "A Brief History of Everything" and Robert Young Pelton's "The Adventurist". As for music, anything quality and as for movies I like documentaries like Andy Goldsworthy's "Rivers and Tides" & "My name is Salt".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen a polar bear, and helped rescue paddle boaters in a wind storm before they went over a damn. I also recently spent a week in a remote part of Canada in the winter exploring the potential for a new backcountry hut system.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm happy to share my love and knowledge of rock climbing, backcountry split boarding, travel and film with others. I'm also always down to share recipes/ cook meals (I was a personal chef for a year so am used to cooking for a crowd). I'd love to learn french, spanish, chemisty and dive deeper into anything filmmaking related.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Tips on where to go, what to do. I love Colorado and have been here for 22 years. I know lots of great trails and climbing spots, and if anyone is interested we can even scramble the 2nd flatiron.
