About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"A drink a day keeps the shrink away" -Edward Abbey

ABOUT ME

I'm the kind of guy who can drive fifty miles into the middle of nowhere and see somebody I know, it has happened. I'll give you the shirt off my back if you need it, and if you've got too much pride to ask you're gonna get it anyway most of the time. I'm a strong believer in the Red Green philosophy, "If the women can't find you handsome at least let them find you handy." I can fix things and I'm not afraid of a challenge. My biggest pet peeve is when someone say's they'll do something and they won't. I don't bullshit people, don't have time for either end of it.
When it comes down to it, I'm open for meeting new folks and making new friends anywhere. Life is too short to hide in a cocoon.

PHILOSOPHY

Go live, make memories, don't worry, if it doesn't work out you get up and move on.

Interests

I constantly have a lot going on. I'm working on a teaching license and always have multiple projects going on. I work on cars, build things, brew my own beer, make my own sausage, and am always playing outdoors. I love sailing and snorkeling and miss the water when I'm home in the mountains. I love taking pictures of places I go and more than anything finding new stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a month in California a few years ago that completely changed my life. Two weeks of it were spent in Northern California specifically in Yosemite. Sitting on top of Cloud's Rest in Yosemite National park has to be one of the coolest things I've ever done. Just to be sitting on top of the park and have that amazing 180 degree view of the Sierras was both inspiring and humbling. Being in that part of the world was just absolutely wonderful and make me think long and hard about the fact that I don't care what I do with my life as long as I don't feel like I've wasted it.

Countries I’ve Visited
