ABOUT ME

I am in Austin, TX working for a study abroad company sending students to and coordinating our programs in Central America & the Caribbean. It's really nice working in a job that deals with international travel and cultural exchanges daily. I recently graduated with my masters from a school Monterey, CA in International Development. I hope to use this knowledge to positively impact my surrounding environment. I had a phenomenal opportunity during my studies to spend 6 months internship in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, completing research on security and development in the favelas. My entire time there was extremely enriching and fascinating. I grew up in the heat in TX and AZ and have loved living in California. Austin is one of the greatest cities in the world though!
I love to do and see anything I can, taking in all the breathtaking experiences life has to offer.

I love documentaries, and also funny movies like Hot Rod and Superbad. The Beach, Babel, Crash, 8 Mile, X-Men, Ultima Parada, Bus 172, The Party, Inglorious Bastards.. My favorite book is A Clockwork Orange. I enjoy a wide variety of musical genres.
