Hi there !

My name is Jean-Christophe, I'm from a little town near Lorient (France) and now I live and work in Nantes in the Renewable Energies since I finished my studies in 2015.
I have quite a lot of passions and things I'm interested in ! I love music (listening and playing), and it is one of the subjects of culture I like to discover in foreign countries (traditional music in particular). Regarding Arts, I would say the second field I love is food ! I love cooking, experiencing new recipes and of course tasting ;).
Sports are also a big part of my life. I practice martial arts (Jujitsu and Judo) but I'm also found of climbing and sliding sports as mountainboard, snowboard or longskate. A last field I'm invested in is handcrafted in general (DIY spirit !) and particularly forging since few years.

Regarding travels, I'm planing to be traveling mainly by bike from April 2019 to April 2020 through Europe and Asia, with main goal to reach Japan ! I Experienced this way of traveling few months ago during 7 weeks from Nantes to Sevilla, an i think it's just the perfect way of traveling.

Regarding Couchsurfing, I'm just discovering it. As a guest, I would say I'm a respectful person, and I like to think I'm an easygoing person :).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new on Couchsurfing, but it's a while since I heard about it and since I wanted to try. I like to meet people and discover new cultures. I'm leaving for a one year trip, and I think couchsurfing would be a rich way to discover new places and cultures all around the world !
