My name is Jean, I'm 19(but look younger for some reason), I was born and raised in Brazil but nowadays I live in Portugal, and I wonder if you might ask why I moved to a place 10000 km away from home.
Here's why: Brazil is a wonderful place and I really love there, our culture is something amazing and almost everyone is open to each other, we are simply HAPPY!. But I mean our current state of economy and education is not that good, and by that I always wanted to live in other countries for experience, I grow older and chose Portugal!
In Portugal I finally could fulfill my dream of traveling and meeting new people, and do a great university!
Thank god I'm surrounded by amazing people no matter where I am, my family and friends are the things I most value in the entire world!
And that's why traveling is so important to me, meet new people and meet new cultures is something that can change myself as a person, that's why since I moved to Portugal I save my money almost entirely for trips.
But I mean as a student I don't have that kind of money to spend on hostels and stuff, soon I heard about couch surfing I loved the ideia of being around someone who could show me around and be friends with.
